Laurie Anne Shuey (Andersen)
Dear Bill,
I don't know what to say. Although I, too, have lost a spouse and have also been a care-giver for my husband of 48 years, each of us has a unique way of coping and grieving.
You have been the wizard of the web for RHS-GHS Class of 1966, reuniting us with memories and laughter. Because of you, Andy and I were able to traverse the VA maze; you even allowed me to vent when the frustrations of bureaucratic delays and rejections drove me crazy. I overheard the kind words you used to comfort your dear Darlene; no one could ask for a more loving husband.
You have been available when others needed you, whether it was with advice, a joke or a word of support. Now it is our turn "to be there" for you. Please let us know how we can help.
