Funeral services for Robert Mike Crone, 63, of Wildwood, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011, at R. S. Farmer Funeral Home, with interment following in Village Mills Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Crone died June 13, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Survivors include wife, Kathy Crone; son, Will Crone and wife, Kristen of Village Mills; one sister, Sue Clampitt and husband, Mike of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Tristen, Sterling, and Kadence.

I spoke with Mike ten years ago or so. He was disabled at that time and living with a child. I knew Mike since Jr. High and never knew his first name was Robert. We never hung out together but had many classes and I liked him. I hope his adult life was happy and am so sorry about the disability. I like his gravestone logo - "It Was Love" RIP. We remember.
