I have owned three full line music stores in my life time. I have consistently taught music in my life at all levels from first grade through college in public schools and private schools. I am also a piano tuner/technician. I buy, repair and sell pianos. I was in band instrument repair for a number of years. In the last 6 years my son, Nathan and I have become significantly involved in raising longhorn cattle for breeding purposes. We have a ranch and a cabin on a 22 acre lake in Cameron, Texas and also own land in Rogers, Texas for grazing purposes. I presently operate the largest private music instruction studio in Bell County. I teach approximately 80 students piano and guitar lessons, 30 minute lessons each. We have three large, public recitals each year at the "In the Mood Ballroom in downtown Temple, Texas. I am also the Chairman for the Piano Guild Auditions for Temple which are held at Temple College each year in May.
I have also just started playing lead guitar in a small band. We haven't really got things off the ground yet but it's a lot of fun. We meet for practice once a week. (bass guitar, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, drums and electric cello) Between teaching music lessons in my home, piano tuning, sales and repairs in my shop, and raising and selling longhorn cattle, my life is very busy but I love it all. I am very blessed. I forgot to mention that I also later graduated from Hardin-Simmons Univ. in Abilene, Texas and attended Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. I was a full time Southern Baptist music minister and preacher for seven years before returning to Eastern New Mexico Univ. in Portales, New Mexico and changing my music minor into a major and then going into public school teaching. At age 50, I became a part time, Messianic minister for 6 years. Due to my ability to read Greek and Hebrew I have finally come into the knowledge of a huge bulk of information that I never knew existed. Because I am a truth seeker, I spent years verifying all my religious beliefs and as a result, I have converted to Judiasm. I am presently in the process of writing a book which explains all that I have learned and fully documents all the hundreds of reasons why I have become Jewish. The book is called "Christian Dualism" and it is presently over a 1000 pages long. I am trying to bring it to a close so it can be published but it is difficult to stop the flow of information that I keep finding. Truthseeking requires much study, time and effort but I am grateful for what the Heavenly Father has revealed to me. My favorite quote is: "Truth is a bitter tree which yields sweet fruit". Blessings and best wishes to all of you, my friends.
