IN MEMORY

Bobby Allison

It is with much sadness that we have to let go and say "adios" to our dear friend, Bobby Allison. He was a 1966 high school classmate, a talented musician, a recording artist with Columbia Records and Epic Records, a loving husband, brother, father and good friend. Bobby had been suffering from Parkinson for some time, but what a delight he was every time anyone visited he and his wife, Ernie. All will miss that smile of yours, Bobby.😀 You will be missed by many, but we continue ,to listen to your music 🎶 🎸🎹. Much Love❤️  Funeral will be held November 9, 2024 at St. Daniel's Church in Ouray, Colorado.

Bobby was smiling up to the end. This talented musician and songwriter performed for years in Colorado, Nashville (where he accomplished every musician's dream when he obtained a music contract with Columbia Records, then later Epic Records). Then all over the country from Deadwood, SD to New Orleans and Mississippi, even Playboy Clubs where he met his future wife, Ernie. Although partially paralyzed from falling asleep at the wheel after a late gig, Bobby continued his music. His last gig was for 10 years at a Mississippi casino until Hurricane Katrina took it out as well as their dream home on the Gulf of Mexico. Bobby performed opening night at our 50-year reunion. Here are fairly recent visits with Bobby and Ernie.
