COVID IS REAL: With deep sadness we report that WALLY REYNOLDS lost his wife of 53-years, Carolina Reynolds, died yesterday, July 30th. When one classmate grieves, we all grieve. Wally, know that those that knew you at GHS (and RHS) are truly sorry for your loss.
In short, both Wally and Carolina tested positive for Covid-19. Wally was really sick for 5-6 days then recovered; Carolina had to be hospitalized then was intubated for the last 14-days before passing. As Wally said, "Carolina got her wings July 30th, she is on the side of God now." Again, Wally, all of us are so sorry for your loss. We are thrilled Carolina had such a loyal, caring and loving husband. You set an example for the rest of us.

She and her family worked farms between McAllen Texas and Ontario Oregon as migrant workers helping to support each other. They settled in Twin Falls Idaho. She met her husband, Wally in the spring of 1967 and they married on August 8 of the same year (which happens to be Wally's birthday and she did so he would never forget). They began their family in Twin Falls and then relocated to Ridgefield Washington where they raised their children and experienced many memories together as a family.
Carolina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother all the while being a feisty, passionate woman about the people she loved and what she believed in. She was a proud woman and had her own way with words. She was a tenacious soul, with a whole lot of sass, the strength of a warrior and a heart full of love. She was a proud member of the Local 335 Laborers Union, Vancouver WA and instilled the value of hard work with her children, grandchildren and many others she had connected with over her lifetime. She pushed her family to strive for better, always finding the lesson or blessing in a situation.
