Lisle was a sweetheart. She was one of the prettiest of our class, but also one of the nicest. She became a military nurse until retirement. Afterwards, she and her partner taught or nursed at school, raised miniature horses, and had many animals around their place. Lisle loved her classmates and would ask me often about them. Cancer took her from us. Rest peacefully, dear Lisle.

I was at Goddard and Lisle was at Roswell High. I took her to the Prom at Goddard. She was gorgeous, and the two of us, if I might be a bit immodest, made a great looking couple. I found her charming. She was also very religious, while I was not. I sent her a poem in 1967. We were very different, yet the same. After those old days, I only saw her at the major HS reunions. I always had a fondness for her because of her beauty, her sincerity, and a deep feeling of connectedness, no matter how her inclinations might go. It is sad that she has left us so soon. But I'm sure she brought a lot of love to others, including also her horses.

I remember Lisle as a really sweet, smart and cute girl. She surprised me with a Christmas card and letter about her life...I don't remember the year, but I was very happy to hear from her. May God bless her and keep her in His arms.
