Molly, a San Antonio resident since 2006, passed away after a long battle with cancer on December 17th 2015. It was a battle she fought with tenacity, courage and a wonderful sense of humor. Molly was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1947 and spent her early years traveling from coast to coast as a "Navy Brat" (her father was a career submarine officer). She had an adventurous spirit and later lived & worked in Virginia, Utah, Montana, New Mexico, Kentucky, Florida, finally settling in San Antonio. Molly always had a love for animals, especially dogs--a long-time family opinion was that if reincarnation was possible, we would all choose to come back as one of Molly's dogs.

Steve, I would like to thank you for letting us know about Mary. Even though I did not know her, I appreciate that she was such a fighter and from the way you described her, she sounded very valient and truely special. Being a breast cancer survivor myself, I feel the true kinship to those who have fought the fight. Another example of one who has left us way too soon. Sending love to you and your family. Thanks again.

I am greatful for the information on Mary's life. It really helps us know some of the answers to the age old question, "Whatever happened to .....?" It sounds like Mary had an active adulthood and that she met all challenges with a good spirit.
