When I got into 10th grade, and saw the huge size of our classates...wow, it was pretty over-whelming for me. I had been dating George Davis (GW) the Summer of 64. Four girls came up to me, The Sartin Twins, Pam and Linda Henry. They said they had "heard" I was dating George. I said, "Ehhhh yes," very slowly. I had no idea what I would hear. They started laughing and inviting me to sit with them at lunch, etc. I soon found out that all of them had, had a "crush" on George at one time or the other when they were in Jr. High. They told me how cute they thought he was and how he could make them laugh. Pam was always the shy and quiet one. I thought, Oh my gosh, this guy could have picked any one of these gorgous girls and he picked me!! I think I was in shock for a while. I imagine that Pam stayed just as beautiful as she was in high school as she would have been in the rest of her life.

Pam lived in Ohio most of her adult life prior to retirement and moving to Capitan for good. She and her husband, a college professor and writer, owned a cabin in Capitan they had been coming to for many summers. They had been in it fulltime for less than a year when she was diagnosed with cancer. You lived your life well, Pam.

Dated Pam second semester senior year.Still think of her sometimes ,when people say something about UFO in Roswell. She lived across the street from Craig and myself. She was the only girl I ever gave a ring to except my wife. I feel badly for her family. Glad I knew her a fine women.

I remember her as, till this day, one of the prettiest, thoughtful and giving woman I ever knew. One late nite on a bottomless Lake run, I had the pleasure of removing thorns from her rear, after a failed attempt of relieving herself! My claim to fame! I'm sad to hear she passed. Sounds like she lived a full life.

Pam and I were good friends in grade school and junior high.  We ran around together for a while early on.  My real father, Tommy Dresser ( my adopted mother's brother) worked with Glenn Dennis, Pam's dad. Tommy did his internship in the mortuary business under Glenn at Ballard Funeral Home in Roswell.  I wish I had know more about their bond.  I think that is why Pam and I were friends.  Miss her sweet smile and kind spirit.

I remember Pam as a very sweet girl, a friend in grade school.  I have a photo of the two of us in my back yard, playing with my dachsund.  And as John Rommel said, she comes to mind at any mention of UFOs and Roswell. The thing I remember most about her was her beautiful pony tail.  I imagine I was jealous because my hair was naturally curly and her pony tail was beautiful and sleek.
