A memorial service for Jeanne Garofalo Glenn, 65, of Roswell, NM, will be Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home with Pastor Savino Sanchez Jr. officiating. Jeanne passed away, Sunday, September 15, 2013.

Jeanne was born August 6, 1948, to Salvatore Garofalo and Minnie Reyes Garofalo in Roswell, NM. [auth] She was employed with the RISD for over 30 years and enjoyed her time with the kids, she liked to walk and go shopping, loved her dogs; Patches, Daisy, and Socks, she loved spending time with the “Lunch Bunch.”

Jeanne is survived by her mother, Minnie Garofalo; her sister, Nancy and husband Tommy Sanchez; her two closest friends, Irene Garcia and Sharon Day; and her aunt, Elizabeth Lara of Roswell.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her significant other, Albert Lucero; and by her father, Salvatore Garofalo.

Honorary pallbearers will be her two best friends, Irene Garcia and Sharon Day and the rest of the “lunch bunch” Alice Villareal, Gloria Fresquez, Mary Garcia, Betty Garcia, Lupe Cobos, Pat Allensworth, and Elizabeth Romero.
